My Dad came down for a visit over Thanksgiving and we had a great time visiting all the nearby State Parks.
Brazos Bend State Park, was voted one of the top State Parks in the country and once we got there we understood why.
We saw millions of birds (literally. They flew in at dusk and a thick cloud of them stretched as far as the eye could see, this continued for at least 20 minutes), plenty of armadillos, and got a little too close to some over-friendly alligators.
Oh, and by the way, it snowed today. In Houston Texas. I have no pictures , crazy it was near 80 degrees yesterday!
