We had a great time on Saturday taking pictures and having lunch with friends. Gavin was able to play with Kyle and Keelie's fun toys he especially liked the little chair that had flashing lights (hint, hint, Grandparents). Keelie had great fun thumping Gavin over the head with a toy-Gavin did not think this was so fun...

Hail, Bugs and Turkey

Snow in Houston? No, but we did get some large hail Thanksgiving Eve. It was nice to have "Holiday" weather for a change.

As we were getting ready to leave for our friends house Thanksgiving morning I noticed Gavin chewing on something with a quizzical look on his brow. When I went to investigate I found a nice sized (dead) bug. Very nasty. I was going to include a picture but Dustin nixed that idea, he is no fun.

It is still shorts weather here, supposedly the weather is going to cool down for Thanksgiving. I love the heat but honestly I am ready for it to cool off a bit.
Gavin has learned to clap and he does it with much gusto.

Gavin had his 9-month appointment almost two weeks ago. He weighed in at 23 pounds, so he is now down to the more tame 75 percentile, however his head is still in the 90th...

At the State Park

Somehow I convinced Dustin to go to the State Park instead of watching the game this afternoon. It was perfect out and an awesome chance to enjoy the beautiful weather. We bought a year-long pass that gives us access into all the State and National Parks in the state of Texas. Today we went to Huntsville State Park which is only about 15 minutes away.
